In memory of the dead and wounded in the Mushkegowuk Territory who fell from preventable corruption and incompetence within their public hospital and one man’s efforts to change this.

Dr. Waddell

“You are well-respected among the Mushkegowuk people John, you are trusted and loved by many.  Your years of dedication to us have not gone unnoticed.  This is something that does not come easy for a population that has been suppressed and oppressed for many generations.  You must take value in this fact you have accomplished much in your time here in the Mushkegowuk region.  More than any another non-native person will ever achieve”  wrote the WAHA Board of Director from Moosonee Rick Wabano Sr. to Dr. John Waddell in 2017.
